L.A. Holts is a seasoned creative force with over three decades of experience in film, television, and stage. A distinguished graduate, she earned her B.A. in Theatre and Fiction Writing from Columbia College, ranking in the top 5% of her class. She later completed her M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Liberty University with a 3.97 GPA, receiving the prestigious Omega Nu Lambda Scholarship.

 

L.A. has acted in over 30 productions and has made a lasting impact on the industry. Her notable performances include "Five on the Black Hand Side" and "The Temple," which were performed at the ETA theater, along with her memorable role as Stacey in the Emmy and Angel award-winning Christian soap opera "The Awakening". She also led the musical “Shining Through,” written & directed by renowned Tony Small, showcasing her versatility as a performer.

 

Beyond acting, L.A. has carved a path as a writer and director, creating powerful stage productions such as:

• Doors

• Mop & Bucket Blues

 

She has further expanded her expertise into prophetic theater and writing education, leading workshops and conferences for church leaders, drama teams, and individuals.

L.A. is also the writer of the television sitcom The Coleman Show, streaming on Amazon Prime and Tubi. Along with the up-and-coming television series The Bond Between Us, as not only the writer but also as Producer and Casting Director.

 

Her talents extend into music, with classical vocal training since the age of twelve. She has spent over 25 years professionally coaching actors, singers, and speakers, helping them overcome stage fright and navigate careers in the entertainment industry.

 

In addition, L.A. is a stage combat choreographer, minister of prophetic spoken word, special effects makeup artist, and creator of original Sand Creation art. Her commitment to nurturing future creatives is evident through her previous sponsorship of the Chicago's Children’s Film Festival, supporting young talent in film and theater.

 

L.A. credits her diverse artistic journey to her early exposure to performing arts schools, where she developed a deep appreciation for creative expression in both public and private institutions. Thanks to the support of her parents James and Aundraetta Holts, family, and friends, L.A. has been blessed to continue building a career in the creative arts.
