Responsibilities:

Develops relationships and collaborates with key stakeholders.

Displays adherence to the organization’s mission.

Maintains proficient knowledge of the organization’s history and programs.

Identifies grand funding opportunities.

Gathers and organizes appropriate supporting documents for proposals and grants while maintaining a collection of these records for future use.

Wrights, submits, and manages grant proposals while keeping track of deadlines

Furnishes prospective funders with supporting documents.

Collaborates with the Executive Director to distribute newsletters and promotional documents to funders.

Collaborates with the Executive Director to compile annual reports.

Maintains records and reports containing status updates related to fund raising efforts.

Collaborates with Executive Director to distribute reports and documents related to grant writing to the Board of Directors upon request.
Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, creative writing, or a related area

A minimum of two years of experience in grant writing

Experience with proposal submission and fundraising processes

Ability to monitor and manage deadlines for submissions of grants, proposals, and related reports.

Ability to study and understand programs and funding requirements of the organization

Strong research skills and knowledge of information sources

Multitasking, organizational and time management skills

Ability to manage confidential matters with utmost integrity

Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Applications

Administrative Assistant Job Description
eta Is looking for a versatile and highly motivated Administrative Assistant to perform clerical duties for the Executive Director. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling meetings, taking notes, and handling correspondence on behalf of the ED. You may also be required to make travel arrangements and assist with other duties when required.
To ensure success as an Administrative Assistant, you should exhibit excellent organizational skills and demonstrable experience in an administrative role. Accomplished Administrative assistants are intuitive to the needs of the ED and work autonomously to provide customized administrative support.
Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:

Reporting to the ED and performing secretarial and administrative duties.

Typing, formatting, and editing reports, documents, and presentations.

Entering data, maintaining databases, and keeping records.
-
Interacting with internal Staff, answering calls, and making travel arrangements.
-
Managing internal and external correspondence on behalf of the ED.
-
Scheduling appointments, maintaining an events calendar, and sending reminders.
-
Copying, scanning, and faxing documents, as well as taking notes.

Preparing facilities for scheduled events and arranging refreshments, if required
-
Ordering office supplies and replacements, as well as managing mail and courier services.

Observing best business practices and etiquette.
Administrative Assistant Requirements:

High school diploma or GED.

Certification in secretarial work, office administration, or related training.

1-2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant would be advantageous.

Extensive experience in creating documents and spreadsheets, using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Google meets, Google Docs, Google Calendar, Google Sheets & Zoom. QuickBooks is a plus.

Advanced typing, note-taking, record-keeping, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage internal and external correspondence.

Working knowledge of printers, copiers, scanners, and fax machines.

Proficiency in appointment scheduling software using Google Calendar.
